The Zoom Meeting Called to order by John K7LVJ at 7:00 PM. 20 participants were in attendance.
Reports
Vice President: Bob Ramborger K7JNV discussed the Skagit People website we’ve elected to participate on and John K7LVJ asked the placeholder phone number and address be changed to reflect reality.
Secretary Report: Ric Merry, K7ITE. July minutes read and approved. Website: VE Testing information now posted on the Blog, given a new category listing and the next 4 months added on the calendar.
Treasurer Report: Loren Wohlgemuth KD7ZPJ reported no monies in or out last month. Ending balance remains at $6,668.13 with $1,590.17 in the Repeater Fund.
ARES/RACES: Mike Judy KGMYX discussed the August 5th Saturday drill. The scenario for that drill will be loss of fixed antennas and hopes to deploy the DEM Mobile Command Post (MCP).
President: John K7LVJ polled the members as to who were HF operators, spoke about the availability of the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo presentations until September, and the upcoming Islands on the Air contest.
Other: Rich Rohweder N7FDM announced that a small crew recently went up to Lyman for a site visit prior to moving the DEM Digital repeater there and there is a large work crew planning to go there this coming Sunday to finish the install. The internet connection won’t be up until later in the week. There will also be a new power supply installed on the 145.19 repeater Sunday resulting in a brief outage.
